| Notes on Cooking With Wheat Nuts
Wheat Nuts perform
much like ordinary nuts in our recipes. But be aware that Wheat
Nuts will lose their crunchy, nut-like texture if used
to replace nuts in recipes with high moisture levels. So Wheat
Nuts should not be used in recipes for muffins, quick breads,
cakes or cake-type brownies, because they will soften during cooking
and lose their nutty texture.
To add a special nutty crunch to salads, stir
fry, yogurt, breakfast cereal and ice cream, top with Wheat
Nuts immediately before serving.
