| Cream
margarine, oil and sugars. Beat in egg. Mix in flour, soda, salt,
and cream of tartar. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix until well
blended. |

| Drop by teaspoonsful
onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes,
until lightly browned. Cool 3 to 5 minutes on cookie sheet, then
transfer to racks. Makes about 6 dozen cookies. |
